The Server Setup program is only used on the computer where the accounting system database has been created and resides.  Typically is only launched when special administrative tasks must be completed on the DES data store.  It updates the database with important parameters and meta data when necessary.  

Running Server Setup does not change or influence any data stored by the accounting system.  The accounting system data is accessed, but never modified or changed..
