Purchases Cube View with Vendor Dimension as rows sorted by Amount and Measures as columns.
The Purchases Cube contains members from the four primary dimensions - Customer, Item, Time and Measures plus two special dimensions, Vendor and Payment Type as well as the Growth dimension. This cube provides the ability to analyze and report details the purchases of Items from Vendors.
The Vendor dimension has members for each Vendor. It has two hierarchies:
- Vendor - who members are each individual vendors
- Type - where vendors are categorized by Type
The following measures are available for the Purchases cube:
- Quantity Purchased
- Amount Purchased
- Cost / Item
- Price - Average Price per Item
- Unit % Vendor - Vendor's Quantity as a percent of Parent Quantity
- Dollar % Vendor - Vendor's Dollar Amount as a percent of Parent Amount
- Dollar % Item - Item's Amount as a percent of Parent Amount
- Unit % Item - Item's Quantity as a percent of Parent Quantity
- Item Purchased - Number of Items (SKUs) purchased
- Wks Purchased - Number of Weeks one or more Items were purchased
- Vendors - Number of Vendors from whom Items were purchased
- Unit Rank - Item's rank based upon QuantityCumeUnits - Item's cummulative Quantity when ranked with other items
- Cume Units - Item's cummulative Quantity when ranked
- CumeUnits% - Item's cummulative Quantity as a percent of Parent Quantity
- Dollar Rank - Item's rank based upon Amount
- Cume Dollars - Item's Cummulative Amount when ranked
- CumeDollars% - Item's cummulative Amount as a percent of Parent Amount
- Purchase / Item - Average Amount per Item
- Purchase / Vendor - Average Amount per Vendor
- Purchase / Week - Average Amount per Week
